alright been ages since i updated this blog.. OKAY PEOPLE SYF is just 12 days away, I hope you guys are as excited and enthusiastic of displaying your best!! Practice hard and be united as a team! jiayou band!! You guys were simply awesome on monday! everything went quite smoothly. except for some minor problems there. Some of us were not on time in the morning and some guys slacked in their discipline. you guys have to control your noise level ar! (: ok, The woodwinds has shown a massive improvement in tocatta for band. But DO NOT stop practicing; as theres always room for improvement. Especially on overture. Thanks a plenty to farid, who have been doing a good job! to push the woodwinds section in the running notes. yeay! Not forgetting Haziq and izzuan too, who also tried their best and managed to urged on the "problematics" to attend practice. everyone Plays a part!!! So keep on being united guys!! :D :D :D Oh yes, i noticed that you guys have no problem in rythms for both pieces, however you guys have to really WORK HARD on your dynamics, intonation, articulation and your balance thingy. Play it with feelings and emotions too! Time will soon pass and before we know it.. there we will be on stage to showcase our talents. Keep on practising especially for these 2 weeks... Im not telling you to put aside everything else.. like work, tuition or family outings. reschedule it, but hope you can prioritise band for the moment. Every member plays an important role in the band! Don't be too anxious about the results, whats important is to get ourselves in the right frame of mind. Guys, trying our best is good. But trying to get better is the key!!! Lets put 2009 as part of our wonderful memories in future! ^^ Keypoints to the percussion section. I noticed you guys tend to drop your sticks. Izzuan, Please work on that as this will also count to penalties for syf :) wait for more updates! ♥ bm. .
